The room was spacious enough, featuring a basic yet functional ensuite and the comfort of a cozy bed—perfect after my long journey. The hotel boasts amenities like a lovely outdoor swimming pool and a bar/lounge area where one can unwind. While the establishment is close to the rainforest, be prepared for some road noise—a reminder of its proximity to a main route. Free Wi-Fi in public areas and helpful tours/ticket assistance open opportunities for exploring the nearby Amazon. While it's about a 10-minute taxi ride into Puyo with limited nearby facilities, Hosteria Don Elias serves as a great springboard for adventure. With its reasonable pricing, the value is clear; you get comfort without breaking the bank.
